1.     What is MFI?

MFI is a permission that Apple Inc. gives to external accessories made by its authorized manufacturer. It's the abbreviation of Made for IOS. The salient mark of the certified product is a black on white MFI logo positioned on the lower half of the front of its package ( see the picture below). As a result, consumers are more confident of MFI certified accessories. MFI thus becomes a mark of technique and quality. Currently, the passing rate of MFI is only around 2%. Most manufacturers are denied because they are unqualified.
